About D-Talks

Stories of recovery are meant to inspire others to practice harm reduction or abstinence altogether, but also for friends and family to know and understand the types of trauma endured. It is important to have a forum to express our stories in a way that are helpful and healing. This may come in length or short stories that give a gist of an experience. It’s time to remove the stigma associated with addiction one story at a time.

Whatever recovery looks like for you, we hope that you are successful and give it your all!

Self-Care

Remember to practice self-care when listening to peer stories. These stories may entail similar traumatic experiences that invoke strong emotions. Do so at your own pace and remember…self-care, self-care, self-care!
